Sean Crealey and Scott Groves are participating in a non-stop 6 kilometre swim on Sunday the 24th of February at the Centenary Pool, between 7-9am to raise some much needed funds for young Ivy Roger.
Ivy is a 7 year old girl who has Cerebral Palsy, and along with her family have overcome many challenges throughout her life. She is a bubbly young girl and is a huge inspiration to everyone she meets or has the pleasure to hear her story!
After highly expensive essential surgery in the USA, Ivy requires various intensive rehab requirements along with continual therapy which come at a very
high cost. Ivy's family have also been hoping to purchase a special disability assisted bike for Ivy’s Birthday which will be a huge surprise for Ivy
and bring her so much joy! So as a team, we are raising funds to try to get the bike in time for her birthday on March 14th! Overall, we are hoping
to raise $5,000 with the bike costing $2,500 and then hopefully we can go beyond this to also raise some extra funds to help her family with the very
high out of pocket specialised rehab costs!
Your support and generosity will make a huge difference to Ivy and her family. Show your support and please come along and cheer us on!
