Our Chippie's Corner program, run twice weekly, aims to provide a supportive environment for people with or without disabilities to to design, create and
construct timber products.
Members of all abilities are guided step-by-step through each project to help learn new skills and techniques in a safe space.
The program is delivered by our enthusiastic Support Mentors who posses a passion to share their skills and knowledge in each project while encouraging inclusive partnerships with all members of the community to mentor and work alongside our members.
Items made or restored can be sold to the public and may include the construction of cutting boards and trays, herb stakes and garden planters, fruit and veggie boxes, home wares and picture frames, garden art and ornaments, bird boxes and tool boxes as well as recycled pallet furniture.
