Meet Edwina – Speech Pathologist

Edwina is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and owner of a private speech pathology practice. She is passionate about helping people communicate with confidence, build connections and participate more fully in everyday life.

Edwina works with children, teenagers and adults, supporting speech, language, social communication, AAC, voice, swallowing and mealtime needs. She has particular interests in neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, stroke, dementia and acquired brain injury, as well as supporting the neurodivergent community.

She is a Certified SPEAK OUT!® and PEERS® Provider and provides personalised, practical and engaging therapy tailored to each person’s strengths and goals. She also provides communication, voice and swallowing services within Sunshine Coast aged-care communities and dysphagia training for nursing and allied health staff.

Before becoming a Speech Pathologist, Edwina worked professionally as an actor in film, television and theatre, bringing her expertise in voice and performance to her clinical practice. She also supports clients with public speaking, workplace communication, interview preparation and acting coaching.

Edwina is thrilled to be part of the Sunshine Butterflies community and looks forward to getting to know participants, supporting their individual goals and helping them develop the communication skills, confidence and independence to participate in the things that matter most to them.

Edwina holds a Masters of Speech Pathology.
